The 5-year old Dancing World and the 6-year old Simply Red wielded the axe of power at the Bundeschampionate qualifier in Prussendorf, Germany, on 1 June 2014. Twenty-one horses in total contested the L and M level divisions in which Cornelia Albrecht, Gabriela Köhler, Jürgen Schnelle and Wolf-Rüdiger Beißert served as judges.
The 5-year old division was won by Sandra Frieling on Herbert Kruse's Hanoverian stallion Dancing World (by Dancier x Wolkenstein II). The duo scored a strong total of 8.7 and got 9 for trot, 8 for walk, 8.5 for canter, and 9 for submission and general impression. The runner-up in the class was Monika Mittermayer on her own Trakehner gelding Brancusi (by Kaiserdom x Cupric xx). They scored 8.1 and got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Alexis Vrachoritis and the Hanoverian gelding Salerno Unico (by Sir Donnerhall I x Riccione) were third with 8.0.
Holga Finken and the Hanoverian stallion Simply Red (by Sir Donnerhall x Wolkenstein II) aced the M-level division with an 8.4 total. The pair got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, and 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. Sissy nadine Brabend and the Westfalian stallion Fernet were second with 8.0. They got 8 for trot, 8.5 for walk and canter, 7 for submission and 8.0 for general impression. Frederic Wandres and Stern von Afrika (by San Amour) were third with 7.7.
