Tilda, Top Seller at the 2018 Westfalian Spring Elite Auction

The 4-year old dark bay mare Tilda became the top seller at the 2018 Westfalian Spring Elite Auction in Munster-Handorf on Sunday 8 April 2018. 

Bred and owned by Wilhelm Hacke, Tilda (by Temptation x Lorentin I) sold for 145,000 euro to Sissy Max-Theurer from Austria. 

The second most expensive horse in the collection was the 3-year old black stallion Friedemann (by Fursten-Look x Duino). Bred and owned by Alfons Baumann, this stallion sold for 62,000 euro. 

The 4-year old bay gelding Emporio (by Escolar x Charming) as well as the 3-year old bay stallion Don Berila (by Don Nobless x Laudabilis) switched owners for 55,000 euro. Both sold abroad in Europe.

The 6-year old gelding Duvalier (by Don Juan de Hus x Belissimo M) moves to Hessia for 47,000 euro. The 4-year old black mare Filoretta (by Follow Me x San Remo) sold to Saarland for 38,000 euro.

A small collection of 24 foals was offered for auction. The jumper colt Karajanos (by Karajan x Con Air) received the highest bid of 23,000 euro. The chestnut filly Visionär (by Vitalis x Dream On) found a new owner for 20,000 euro. 

The average price for a sport horse at this auction was 29,198 euro. The average price for a foal was 7,826 euro.
