The German bred Total U.S. and Romanov will not be standing at stud in 2019. Owner Glock Performance Centre confirmed to that both sires were pulled from the roster.

Total U.S. is a 7-year old Hanoverian bred and KWPN licensed stallion by Totilas x Sir Donnerhall I x Don Schufro. He is bred by Paul Schockemohle and was owned by Dutch Joop van Uytert in partnership with the breeder.

In February 2018 Austrian Gaston Gock acquired the stallion after he won the 2018 KWPN Stallion Competition in Den Bosch as a future hopeful for Edward Gal. The new pair won the 2018 Pavo Cup Finals. The stallion is positive for the WFFS gene.

The 19-year old Oldenburg bred Romanov (by Rohdiamant x Grundstein II x Akzent II) and is one of six licensed full brothers out of elite mare Rumirell. Bred by Harli Seifert, Romanov made his fame in Denmark at Blue Hors stud. He was competed by Andreas Helgstrand and Sune Hansen. In 2011 Edward Gal took over the ride as his 2012 Olympic hopeful. In 2013 the stallion sold to Glock and became a new ride for Hans Peter Minderhoud.

Romanov did his last CDI in Drachten in January 2016 and then quietly disappeared from the scene. The highly popular breeding stallion was never officially retired from sport.

"Breeding and training is not ideal for Total U.S. That is why it was decided not to offer him at stud this season and fully concentrate him on his training," Glock manager Nicole Werner told "We couldn't guarantee the quality of (Romanov's) semen. That is why we didn't offer him, even though we regret it. But we don't want to disappoint the breeders."
