Sweden's Minna Telde and Marit Olofsson Naas won the big tour classes at the 2019 CDI Sopot in Poland on 7 - 10 February 2019.
The CDI Sopot featured a field of nine Grand Prix riders from four European countries: Poland, Sweden, Germany and Italy. The well organised indoor competition also featured a 10-headed small tour field as well as classes for pony, children, junior and young riders.
Minna Telde and her 14-year old Swedish warmblood gelding Isac (by Hip Hop x Master) won the Grand Prix with 71.913% and went on to reign in the Special on a winning score of 69.894%. Telde and Isac have been seeking the international spotlight again for the past half year, actively competing at CDI's throughout Europe. After starts in Falsterbo, Flyinge, Randbol and Olympia, Sopot was their first CDI of 2019.
Swedish Marit Olofsson Naas and her 13-year old Oldenburg bred Strolchi (by Sancisco x Davignon II) grabbed the trophy in the Grand Prix Kur to Music on a 69.665% score. The pair placed third behind Polish homeside heroes Katarzyna Milczarek and her Oldenburg Dzeko (by Dimaggio) in the Grand Prix with 67.435%. Milczarek was second with 68.652% and went on to place second in the Special as well with 68.511%.
