Fynch Hatton, Price Highlight of the 2019 Oldenburg Spring Elite Auction

The 3-year old newly licensed stallion Fynch Hatton became the price highlight of the 2019 Oldenburg Spring Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany, on Saturday 6 April 2019. 

The auction, which celebrated its 90th edition, followed the Oldenburg Saddle Licensing on Friday 5 April, where Fynch Hatton (by Formel Eins x Sir Donnerhall x Weltmeyer), bred by Bernhard Ilting-Reuke The stallion was presented at auction by Spanish Enrique Brewah Grandos Jr from Spain, and sold for 260,000 euro to Andreas Helgstrand.

The second most expensive horse was the price highlight of the show jumpers: the 6-year-old jumper Cavallina (by Cavall x Contender x Capitol I). Bred by Stutteri Hillock in Denmark,and owned by Stefan Ratajczak from Leipzig, the mare sold for  93,000 euro to Monaco. The horse will be trained by a Brit. 

The same price of 93,000 euro was paid for  the licensed colt San Diego (by Santo Domingo x Donnerschwee). He stays in Germany. 

The fourth most expensive horse was the newly licensed colt What's Yp (by Weltmeyer x Sir Donnerhall) which fetched 88,000 euro and will stay in Germany. Blue Hors stud sold its licensed colt Bon Akzent (by Bon Coeur x Akribori) for 85,000 euro to a German.

The dark bay geling Dark Dancer (by Danone x Furst Romancier) sold to a German for 70,000 euro. Fashion Nova (by For Romance x Londonderry) achieved a knock down price of 57,000 euro. The same price was paid for Furstenberg (by Furst Romancier x Royal Hit). 

Dutch customers acquired Salentino (by Sir Donnerhall x Rubinstein) for 60,000 euro. A Colombian paid 30,000 euro for Villeroy (by Vivaldi x Belissimo M).

Seven horses sold to the U.S.A.: Farraguito (by Feedback x De Vito) was the most expensive U.S.-sold horse for 58,000 euro. Franzi Gold (by Franziskus x Carry Gold) moves to the U.S for 44,000 euro. Beaux Reves (by Belissario x Licotus) and Dante's Peak (by Dante Weltino x Desperados) both sold for 35,000 euro. Fabio Babini (by Furstenball x Worldy) for 26,000 euro

The total sales of the Spring Elite Auction was 1,982,000 euro. The average price for a horse at this auction was 47,190 euro.
