Two further stallions - Legend and Louis ter Kwincke - have dropped out of the 2019 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, the Netherlands, bringing the total of still participating stallions to eight.
The testing began on 15 April 2019 and lasts fifty days.
The stallion licensing held a second mid-term viewing on 15 May and decided that the testing ends for two colts. The testing has ended for Legend (by Desperado x Ehrentusch), owned by breeder J. van de Werken and Ad Valk. The premium approved stallion Louis ter Kwincke (by Easy Game x Damon Hill) has been referred to the autumn testing in October.
Eight colts are still in the running: six 3-year olds and two 4-year olds. The final exam is on 1 June 2019.
