The 3-year old Hanoverian stallion Damaschino became the high scorer of the 50-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau, Germany, which concluded on 19 November 2019.
The 50-day testing started on 1 October 2019 and thirty dressage stallions participated.
The 2019 Bundeschampion of the 3-year old stallions, Damaschino (by Danone I x Fidertanz), became the top scoring stallion with a total of 9.35 points. He earned 9 for his character and willingness to work, 9.5 for walk and trot and 9 for canter, 9.5 for rideability, 8 for jumping in freedom, 10 for general impression and 9.75 from the test rider.
The second highest scoring stallion was Paul Schockemöhle's Don Romance (by Dante Weltino x Sir Donnerhall I) with 8.82 points. He received 9 for character, 9 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 9 for rideability, 7.5 for jumping, 9 for general impression and 9 from the test rider.
Two stallions scored the third highest total of 8.61 points: Franz Joseph Junior (by Franziskus) totaled 8.61 points with 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot and 9.5 fo rcanter, 8.5 for rideability, 7.5 for jumping, 9 for general impression and 8.75 from the test rider. Bailador (by Benicio) also totaled 8.61 points with 9 for character, 8.5 for walk and trot, 9 for canter, 7.5 for jumping, 9 for general impression and 8.25 from the test rider.
The Bavarian bred Va Bene (by Veneno x Belissimo M) finished on 8.59 points, while the Oldenburg bred Furst Charmeur PS (by Furstenball x Charmeur) got 8.57 points and Follow Him's Schönweide (by Follow Me) got 8.51 points.
Felissimpo (by Franziskus) achieved 8.22 points, Vilanciano (by Violancio) ended up with 8.41 and Morricone III (by Millennium) with 8.20 points.
Unable to achieve the minimum requirement of 7.8 or higher were Fidelius (by Franziskus) with 7.35, Rudi Seifert's Bon Coeur x His Highness with 7.50, Carolin Kathmann's Millennium x Roch d'Or with 7.57 points and Guildenstern Sol (by Ivanhoe) with 7.63 points.
