German Olympian Dorothee Schneider has parted ways with triple World YH championship finalist Sisters Act von Rosencarree. The Austrian owned mare has been sent home to Castle Achleiten in Austria to recover from an injury.

Sisters Act is a 12-year old Oldenburg mare by Sandro Hit out of Prima Nera (by Royal Diamond x Donnerhall x Pik Bube I). She is bred by Silke Pelzer at brood farm Rosencarree.

Waldmann and Fiebelkorn

Owned by the breeder, the dark bay mare began her competition career under Lena Waldmann in 2016.

By the summer of 2016 Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn took over the ride and became reserve champion at the 2016 Oldenburg young horse championships in Rastede. The pair went on to win the 2016 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf in the 4-year old mare & gelding class.

As Fiebelkorn decided to expand her training business to Australia, the ride on Sisters Act returned to Waldmann in 2017. Waldmann competed her for three more months from April till June

Sisters Act then disappeared from the show scene and in a recent interview Schneider disclosed that the mare has returned home to Austria.

Eurodressage reached out to owner Sissy Max-Theurer who said, "she is recovering from a small injury and we hope she will be back soon."

When asked if the mare will return to Dorothee or get a new rider, Sissy replied, "it is not yet decided who will get the ride on Sissy. Maybe I will ride her myself."
