Hanoverian Auctions in Verden

Apart from E.T. FRH, Dulf by Don Juan x Archimedes is counting among the most successful show jumping horses world wide, sold on one of the Verden Riding Horse Auctions. Born in 1988, he was bred by Werner Lange, Predöhlsau/Dannenberg and sold at DM 10,000 during the summer auction of 1990. The chestnut received its first achievements with the Dutch rider Jos Lansink and is now competing successfully with his permanent rider Leslie McNaught. Recently they won the Grand Prix in Bologna, Italy.

The background picture of Sir Edwin Henry Landseer, descending from the 19th century is showing the Duke of Wellington together with his grey horse, looking somehow jealous, but with a lot of interest at this successful combination.
