Swiss photographer Birgit sent a selection of photos to Eurodressage from the 2006 CDI Berne. Swiss Silvia Ikle won the Grand Prix Kur to Music aboard her 2002 World Equestrian Games mount Romario. In the Grand Prix she finished sixth with 68.542 % but she won the Kur with 72.900%.

Ikle's top horse, however, is Salieri CH, a Swiss bred gelding with whom she has competed at the 2005 European Dressage Championships and with whom she's aiming for an individual medal at the 2006 World Equestrian Games.

Swiss team mate Marie Line Wettstein on Le Primeur, one of the many Lauries Crusador xx offspring that are currently competing at international Grand Prix level.

More Swiss power in Bern: Christian Plage and the Danish warmblood Regent. Plage placed second in the Grand Prix with 71.417 % and third in the Special with 71.040 %.

The 2006 CDI Berne was organized by former Olympic champion Christine Stuckelberger.
