David Shoobridge's Revelwood Stud in Australia has purchased Ingo Pape's Hanoverian licensed stallion Riverside. The chestnut will arrive in Australia in September 2008 when the European breeding season has finished.

"We're thrilled to bring such a great stallion to Australia," David Shoobridge told Eurodressage. "Riverside will stay in Germany until the close of the European breeding season.  He’ll then fly out to Australia in August for the beginning of our season in September."

Riverside is a premium licensed Hanoverian stallion and won his stallion performance test in Munster-Handorf with a 133,8 point overall score and 138,5 points for dressage. Riverside is bred by Ingo Pape and is by Regazzoni out of State Premium Mare Desiree (by Donnerhall x Pik Konig).

Under Canadian Gilian Duke, Riverside competed at the 2005 World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden and under Susan Draper-Pape, he was a finallist at the 2006 World Championships. He was also a high scoring horse in the qualifiers for the 2006 Bundeschampionate.

On his latest shopping trip in Europe, David Shoobridge and his wife Amanda also purchased a new brood mare for his station. "We also bought an Oldenburg branded 3-year old Donnerschwee x Sandro Hit mare from Clemens Graf Von Merveldt.  Both the mare and Riverside will travel to Australia in late August and will be welcome additions to our breeding program."
