The curtain has been raised – the whole collection for the second edition of the Classical Sales Warendorf auction can be viewed online from Friday, 26 February onwards; photos, detailed descriptions and informative videos can be found on the website www.csw-auction.com. The horses are already being tried out now.
"We would like to ask our customers to call us in advance to arrange a trial; this helps us to ensure that the horses are not ridden excessively", says Head of Sales Fabian Scholz.
The first presentation of the auction horses is already scheduled for Sunday, 28 February: at 11am, the auction candidates will be presented under saddle at the Wietelshof, on the outskirts of Warendorf. The other presentations will take place on March 6 at 4pm, and on March 21 at 11am. The auction will follow a few days later, on March 25 at 7pm.
The collection is made up of exquisite, elite horses, and includes the winner of the Baden-Württemberg 4-year-old championship, horses who took part in the Bundeschampionat and in the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses, as well as horses with successes at advanced level. The ages of the horses range from 4 to 9, and there were no limitations in terms of breeds in the otherwise strict selection process.
"Our priorities in the selection were excellent movement, above-average rideability and very good initial training", explains Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin Susanne Miesner. The premiere of the Classical Sales Warendorf auction was celebrated, in 2009, as the 'Auction with a Philosophy'.
Relaxed, happy horses, who are easy to ride, handle and manage and who are regularly given turnout time during the training phase with daily access to grass or sand paddocks, are what the young CSW team wishes to produce.
In 2009, horses left Warendorf for renowned dressage yards in Germany, Chile, Luxembourg, Russia, Poland, and the Netherlands.
