The organizers of the Classical Sales Warendorf Auction have announced that they will be organizing a second CSW auction this year following the huge competition success of CSW sold horses this 2010 show season.
At the 2010 CDI Hagen Oliver Oelrich wins the Intermediaire I with Fritz San Tino. At the dressage and jumping competition in Lienen in May 2010, Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Fatheema win the Qualifier for the LVM Championship and one week later the Bundeschampionate Qualifier in Iserlohn. At the Bundeschampionate Qualifier in Frankenthal in May 2010, Danish Kristine Möller, who lives in Luxembourg, qualifies Freak Blue Phantom for the Bundeschampionate. And in Vienna this spring Austria’s most successful Para rider Thomas Haller prepares Armstrong for the World Para-Equestrian Games in Kentucky.
What do all of these horses have in common? They were all bought at the Classical Sales Warendorf auction.
One look at the results on the evening of the second CSW Auction, at the end of March 2010, made it clear that the auction had been a success: a top price of 155,000 euro, eight horses sold abroad, five horses for over 50,000 euro, an average price of 42,333 euro and an overall turnover of 889,000 euro. Even during the event itself there was a certain reluctance to wait a whole year again for the following auction, and the impressive results of some of the CSW horses provided the final burst of motivation
At the beginning of May the creative and dynamic brains behind Classical Sales Warendorf met for a brainstorming session at the Wietelshof. And they did not discuss for long: there will be a second Classical Sales Warendorf Auction before the end of the year. The date has been set for Thursday 30 September 2010.
The preparations for this forthcoming auction, which will bear the motto ‘The Fine Difference’ are already underway and they will follow the CSW's renowned principles: high quality, rideable dressage horses whose history is fully known, for whom ridden training is combined with regular turnout on grass, loose jumping and race track work, and who are ridden by a team of gentle and competent riders.
“We are now beginning our search for candidates,” said co-organizer Fabian Scholz, who is hoping for yet more resonating interest from horse owners after the success of the two previous auctions.
“The precise dates for the selection of the new collection will be published on the website shortly, but it is already possible to present horses at the Wietelshof now”. If horse owners feel they have a suitable candidate for the auction, “please do not delay in contacting us”, concluded Scholz.
