Luxembourg Team Nominated for 2010 European Pony Championships

2010 European Pony Championships

The Luxembourg Equestrian Federation and its national team trainer Christoph von Daehne selected the team that will represent Luxembourg at the 2010 European Pony Championships in Bishop Burton (GBR) 28 July - 1 August 2010.

The selection was made based on international performances throughout the season.

  • Fabienne Claeys - Domino, an 11-year old German Reitpony stallion by Domingo
  • Marie Hoffmann - Duce, a 10-year old Bavarian bred stallion by Dreamdancer
  • Michèle Thill - Virgil, a 15-year old German Reitpony gelding by Valido

British pony rider Claire Gallimore received a saddle as prize for being the best Brit in dressage. Dr. Philip Lewis of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers (Incorporated by Charter of King Richard II in 1395) handed her the prize.
