The 6-year old Rhinelander stallion For Compliment (by Fidermark x Compliment) has been sold to Switzerland and will be trained and competed by Christian Pläge.
Owner Kerstin Klieber received an offer she couldn't refuse from a Grecian dressage enthusiast who is sponsoring Pläge to ride the horse.
"We have four 2 year old very good sons by him and the best I'll keep," Klieber told Eurodressage. "I know that I'll cry when he leaves tomorrow, because he is the nicest horse I ever had. But I know he´ll get a good rider who will bring him forward to the highest class."
For Compliment is a 2004 Rhineland born stallion by Fidermark out of Contiga (by Compliment x Larome) and is bred by I-judge Peter engel. in 2009 Dr. Ulf Möller rode the Bundeschampionate qualifiers with the horse. Klieber acquired For Compliment at the 2009 PSI Auction in Ankum in December 2009.
Under Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn, For Compliment won the 2010 Wolfsburg Bundeschampionate Qualifier. At the Championships in Warendorf, the stallion went through tumultous competition days finishing last in the first round, fourth in the consolation finals and then ending up with the bronze medal in the 6-year old Finals.
