Belgian Horses Qualified for 2011 World Young Horse Championships

2011 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The Belgian Equestrian Federation has released the names of the horses that have qualified to represent Belgium at the 2011 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, 3 - 7 August 2011. Even though the final Belgian selection trials takes place this weekend, four horses have already built-up a big enough point advance over the others.

The selected combinations are:

5-year olds

  • Tom Franckx aboard the Dutch warmblood stallion Bon Bravour (by Painted Black x Chronos xx)
  • Dominique Mohimont aboard the Dutch warmblood gelding Botticelli (by Vivaldi x Koss)

6-year olds

  • Larissa Pauluis aboard the Oldenburg stallion Don Massimo (by Don Larino x Santander H)
  • Simon Missaen aboard the Oldenburg stallion Rousseau's Topas (by Rousseau x Rohdiamant)

The names of the reserve horses have not yet been released.

The final Belgian WCYH selection trial is in St. Genesius Rhode on 3 July 2011
