British Dressage News

On the night of Monday 12th September, Emily Hamblin's private yard was broken into and thousands of pounds of equipment was taken, from dressage saddles to headcollars and lead ropes.

The stable yard is just a few yards from the house, hidden by tall hedges behind the house which is more than 100yds from any lane. The theft had, according to the police been planned very carefully. The thieves had visited 48hrs before the robbery to check access and avoided the CCTV camera on the drive by driving through a very large neighbouring field, and letting the cows out onto the lane on the night of the theft.

Tragically, Emily's boxer dog Ralph was also found drowned in a swimming pool between the house and the stables.
