Emma Hindle and her partner Tobias have become the proud parents of their first child on 1 December. Their son Luke was born at 5h38 in the morning at the Heidelberg University clinic in Germany.
The 36-year old Hindle had been in labour since Tuesday morning 29 November and the baby was born on Thursday 1 December with an emergency caesaerian section. Both mom and son are in great condition, healthy and happy. Luke weighs 3.190 kg and is 50 cm tall.
Emma plans to return to the circuit in March 2012. "We want to give our little family time to get sorted out," Hindle told Eurodressage.
Emma will be pursuing a spot on the British Olympic team for the 2012 Games in London. "I'm trying to re-organize the stable and am looking for an international groom to accompany us on our Olympic road," she explained.
