After Tinne Vilhelmson's Favourit arrived at Sven Rothenberger's stable Gestut Erlenhof in Bad Homburg, Germany, to become Sanneke Rothenberger's Grand Prix schoolmaster, Vilhelmson's groom loaded the 7-year old Horatio onto the lorry and took the black up north.
Vilhelmson's long-time sponsor Antonia Ax:son Johnson acquired Rothenberger's 7-year old Hanoverian gelding Horatio (by Hochadel x Matcho AA°). Bred by Susanne Buroch and trained by Dorothee Schneider, the gorgeous black won bronze at the 2010 Bundeschampionate as a 5-year old and finished sixth at the 2011 World Young Horse Championships in Verden.
Schneider recently competed Horatio at Prix St Georges level in the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifiers. He has now moved to Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden, where he'll continue to be trained by Vilhelmson.
"We're very happy that Horatio will continued to be trained by such a refined hand. We wish them good luck and much success," Rothenberger said.
