German Grand Prix rider Anja Plonzke has sold her number one Grand Prix horse Le Mont d'Or to Munich business woman Sara Marburg. The ride on the horse has gone to the Baldham based Andrea Vodermaier.
Plonzke and Le Mont d'Or were members of the German B-team and competed together at international shows between 2007 and 2012. In 2007 and 2008 they showed in the small tour, in 2009 Plonzke made the transition to international Grand Prix level on her now 13-year old Oldenburg gelding by Landjuwel Gold x Wie Weltmeyer.
Le Mont d'Or will continue his Grand Prix career under Vodermaier, who runs equestrian facility Max Hof with her parents near Munich, Germany.
"I really am incredible happy about this opportunity and am especially pleased that 'Goldi' and I will be trained and coached by Anja as a part
of our team," Andrea Vodermaier told Eurodressage. "We look forward to the challenges ahead and we will give the best for a successful start of the tournament season next year."
