German Olympic team eventing rider and Grand Prix dressage rider Ingrid Klimke has bought a share in the 2009 Westfalian Licensing Champion Silbermond. Klimke will be training the black stallion as of now.

Silbermond is a black Sir Donnerhall x Ramiro's Son x Matcho AA offspring, bred by Doris Hagemann and initially owned by Martin Dieckhoff. He has been standing at stud at Wilhelm Holkenbrink's station.

After his glorious licensing, Silbermond won the 2010 Westfalian Young Horse Championships and became reserve champion at the 2010 Bundeschampionate under Wibke Hartmann-Stommel. In 2012 he won the Handorf and Neuss-Grefrath Bundeschampionate selection trials, but did not compete at the 2012 Bundeschampionate for which he had qualified. The pair did reclaim the 2012 Westfalian Regional Young Horse Champion's title.

"We are very happy that Silbermond will be trained and competed by co-owner and trainer Ingrid Klimke," Holkensbrink stated briefly.
