The German Equestrian federation is urgently looking for a new venue to host the one and only CDIO Nations' Cup in the country for 2015. As the 2014 CDI Lingen has been cancelled and it is uncertain that the event can take place in 2015, the German FN has no location for its 2015 Nations' Cup.

The CHIO Aachen is the traditional and fixed venue for the annual Nations' Cup in Germany, but as the renowned show is already hosting the European Championships for five disciplines, including dressage, that year it will not be organizing its standard, annual CHIO Aachen. Therefore, the 2015 CDIO Leg in Aachen had been handed to Lingen.

"The FN is now looking for a new show organiser for the CDIO 2015 via the internet," said Heike Gerling, secretary of the Dressage Club Hanekenfähr, which organized the CDI Lingen, "as we are not in the position at the moment to say if can actually host the CDIO in 2015."

Soenke Lauterbach, secretary-general of the German Equestrian Federation, commented that "we need planning security and can't wait to see if the 2015 show in Lingen will take place or not. That's why we will look for a new venue with the show organizers who already applied to host the dressage nations' cup before."

The decision for the 2015 CDIO in Germany will be taken in February.
