While the Belgian warmblood society continues to blow its horn about the phenomenal show jumping potential of their colts, the sad amount of one dressage colt was accepted to move on to the third phase of the 2014 Belgian Warmblood Stallion Licensing.
The second phase of the BWP Licensing took place last weekend at the brand new equestrian centre Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Belgium, on 17 - 19 January 2014.
A total of thirty-two 3 and 4-year old colts were accepted for the third phase. Twenty-three of them are BWP registered and nine are foreign branded.
Only one of two dressage colts registered for licensing made the cut. The accepted dressage colt is Dirk and Kevin Laevens' BWP registered Kozinsky van den Dries (by Quaterback x Clavecimbel).
