German amateur Grand Prix rider Isabelle Hermann has sold her top Grand Prix horse Number One to Elisabeth Wolf from Hamburg, Germany. The horse will stay at Kristy Oatley's yard in the area.

The 34-year old Hermann discovered the now 11-year old Westfalian bred Number One (by Numero Uno x Ramiro) as a 4-year old at Jörg and Sabina Schrödter's stable. Isabelle trained the tall bay gelding to Grand Prix level herself.

The pair competed in the Nurnberger Burgpokal series for Developing PSG horses when Number One was a 7-year old and they competed in Medien Cup series for Developing Grand Prix horses when he was eight.

Isabelle made her international Grand Prix break through in 2011 at the CDI Leudelange and competed the horse more regularly in 2012 at the CDI's in Vidauban, Achleiten, Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Mannheim. They won the 2012 CDI Vienna Grand Prix and Special.

Hermann never got submitted to the German B-team and was therefore not allowed to ride the 2012 German Dressage Championships, despite her good show season.

The combination continued to perform well last year at the 2013 CDI-W Stuttgart, CDI Mannheim, Villach, and Stadl Paura.

Hermann is based in Pforzheim, Germany, and works in her father's company as a sales manager. Number One is the fourth horse the talented Hermann has trained up to Grand Prix level.
