Jazz Girl ZS Named Champion of the 2014 Swiss Warmblood Elite Mare Show

Jazz Girl ZS (by Olivi x De Niro x Gagneur) was named champion of the 2014 Swiss Warmblood Elite Mare Show in Avenches, Switzerland on 19 July 2014.

Bred by Thomas Schneider abnd owned by Schneider and C. Schwendener, Jazz Girl scored 7.42 on the field test, 9 for type, 8 for conformation, 9 for gaits and 17.33 for exterior. Her total of 24.75 gave her the national title and champion's sash.

The show jumping champion was Shanty M (by Sir Shutterfly x Polydor). Bred by Caroline Messer and owned by Rebekka Salzmann, Shanty M scored 24.61 points.

The next ranked dressage mare finished third. Dollar Baby (by Dancier x Don Crusador x Achenbach) is bred by Corinne Frossard and owned by Katrin Meyer. She scored 24.56 points.

Dolce Vita Eighty-seven 3-year old mares qualified for the Elite Mare Show and 80 were entered to compete, 75 of them actually showed up and 25 dressage bred mares earned a title.

Seven 4-year old mares earned the title of Swiss premium mare. The winner in the 4-year old division was Prisca Diem's Dolce Vita (by De Niro x Don Primero x Royal Angelo). She scored 8 for type, conformation and gaits to total 24 points. The reserve champion was Golden Princess KWG (by Furstenball x Abanos x Hill Hawk xx), bred by Walter and Heidi Kunz-Hofstetter and owned by Thomas Dörge. This mare scored 8.33 for type, 7.33 for conformation and 7.67 for gaits.
