Bugatti, Price Highlight of the 2014 Hanoverian Elite Autumn Auction

The 5-year old dark bay gelding Bugatti became the price highlight of the 2014 Hanoverian Autumn Elite Auction in Verden, Germany, on 11 October 2014. The Benetton Dream x Sandro Hit x Donnerhall offspring sold for 180,000 euro. 

Austrian clients acquired Bugatti and also bought the second most expensive horse of the auction, the 4-year old bay David (by Dancier x Earl x Hohenstein) for 150,000 euro.

The third highest knock down price of 145,000 euro was paid by Belgian customers for Forever Love, a 4-year old black mare by Floriscount x Rotspon x Match AA.

The Bundeschampionate finalist Rapace, a 3-year old stallion by Romanov x Sandro Hit x Brentano II, sold for 130,000 euro to Liechtenstein.

A total of 61 sport horses were auctioned and they achieved an average price of 38,524 euro. Five horses were sold for more than 100,000 euro. The most expensive jumper was Peter Pan (by Perigueux) which sold to Sweden for 100,000 euro.

Swedish clients also bought the most expensive foal Dino (by Don Frederic x Sandro King x Carprilli)  for 22,500 euro.  Filly C'Est La Vie (by Cadeau Noir x Sunlight xx) sold for 21,000 euro to a local client. A customer from Ukraine paid 17,000 euro for Lacoste (by Livaldon x Hohenstein) and 14,000 euro for the jumper colt Zauberlehrling (by Zinedine x Cassini II).

The average price for a foal was 6,827 euro.
