Team World Champion Helen Langehanenberg, Professional Dressage Riders' Champion Thomas Wagner, master trainer Jürgen Koschel and Bundeschampionat judge Jürgen Uthoff will talk about how to assess dressage horses properly in theory and practice. And to make the event even more enticing, you’ll also be spoiled with an exquisite culinary experience in beautiful surroundings.

There will be talks and discussions on the dressage horse of tomorrow on 28 April 2015 at the Kronenhof in Bad Homburg. Thomas Wagner, one of the best professional dressage riders in Germany and the owner of the hotel and conference facility, will demonstrate in the saddle what he demands from a top horse. Helen Langehanenberg, team World Champion and WEG individual silver medal winner, will give an interesting lecture titled “From a Youngster to Success in Grand Prix” as well as a presentation of one of her young dressage horses. Jürgen Koschel, a world class trainer and member of the Oldenburg licensing committee, will explain in theory and practice what he expects from an elite dressage candidate. Before this, Jürgen Uthoff, a judge who has judged tests for young riding horses at the Bundeschampionat for many years, will explain what judges want to see if they are to give the highest scores.

The manager of the Vechta auction office, Thomas Rhinow, will be bringing a small collection of young horses from Vechta just for this purpose. Christian Kröber will moderate the dressage symposium.

The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and ends around 6:00 p.m. Included in the package are a breakfast buffet, a substantial meal at noon (you can choose between several exquisite menus), coffee and cake as well as beverages. The price for Oldenburg Verband members is 80 euro per person. The price for non-members is 150 euro per person.
