Swedish sponsor Antonia Ax:son Johnson has acquired the 11-year old Danish warmblood Lombard V as a rising Grand Prix horse for her rider, Swedish WEG and Olympic team rider Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven.

Lombard V is bred in Denmark by Svend Jensen and is by Lobster out of Heidi (by Diplomat). The horse sold in 2011 to Hope Greenfield in the U.S.A as 7-year old. American trainer and horse dealer Lauren Sammis had found the horse for her at the Danish Viegaard stud farm in Denmark.

In 2012 Sammis took over Lombard V as Hope underwent elbow surgery in the summer and could not ride for a period of time.

Internationally, Lombard V has only competed small tour level for one year, in 2013. He contested the Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I classes at the CDI 1* in Saugerties and the CDI-W in Devon. He won the Saugerties Prix St Georges with 68.026%.

Lombard V has now been sold to Ax:son Johnson and has moved to Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden.

"I'm very found of him," Tinne Vilhelmson told Eurodressage. "I'm going to ride him, but have no show plans for him yet. First I want to get to know him and give him/us the time that is needed. He is a very sweet horse and I ride him with a big smile everyday, but he's green (at Grand Prix) so we need a little time still."
