What's Happening in the Dressage World?

The 65-year old Belgian team trainer Sjef Janssen has injured himself severely to the hamstring. Last week Janssen made a sudden, wrong movement and tore his hamstring.

Sport physician Peter Vergouwen carried out an MRI on the Dutch born and Erp based coach to come to this diagonis at hospital Gelderse Vallei.

Next week Janssen will have to go to the medical centre in Amsterdam where they will assess whether an operation is required or just rehabilitation. The recovery period will take a very long time and full recovery is not expected.

Janssen is currently moving about on crutches or with a scooter.
