The Dutch based South African Ingrid Malan has acquired the 2014 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Test winner Giovanni (by Chippendale x Scandic).
Ingrid Malan is a young rider based in Middelburg, The Netherlands. She has competed as a junior in South Africa and relocated to Holland after having studied at Somerset College in South Africa.
Giovanni is bred by Cees van Etten and was previously owned by Van Etten and Gert-Jan van Olst. The liver chestnut was the 2014 spring performance test winner in Ermelo, The Netherlands, and scored 8s for walk and trot and 9.5 for canter.
Malan will focus the 4-year old Giovanni on sport and is preparing him for the KWPN Stallion Competition and Pavo Cup.
Malan purchased the 3-year old Dutch gelding Haeden (by Chippendale x Haarlem) for 70,000 euro at the 2015 Van Olst Sales last April.
