The Brightwells Addington Elite Dressage Sales select high quality Dressage prospects throughout Europe for the ever popular and successful sales held at the Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, on Saturday 22 August 2015.
The 2015 Summer Collection is of a particular high standard, all horses have undergone X-ray examination and will be vetted at Addington on the days prior to the sale.
X-rays can be forwarded to your Veterinary Surgeon up to two days prior to the auction and horses can be tried by arrangement at their current locations before travelling to the UK for the Sale. With further Trial Rides available at Addington on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August.

A beautiful son of Painted Black who is ridden by none other than Anky van Grunsven and has a very impressive competition record. In 2004 he sired the most expensive foal ever sold in The Netherlands (€96,000). His sire is the popular Trakehner stallion Gribaldi, and dam is the Keur mare Litchy who is sired by Olympic Ferro and competed at Z-class dressage. Painted Black has numerous successful offspring incl. Painted Brown, Wervelwind, Wocata, Wingrid, Winner Black, Zingaro-Apple, ZZ-Top, Zitina, Zayson F, Anderson P, Ancenza etc. The mother line brings the blood of Magic Ronaldo, a son of the legendary foundation stallion, Rubinstein I, who performed at international level in dressage, and who originates from the same line as the Olympic Champion Rembrandt. He has sired over 80 approved stallions, among which Rohdiamant, Rubinus, and Magic Ronaldo. Magic Ronaldo's dam, the State Premium mare Carella, originates from one of the best maternal lines of Oldenburg. She produced the approved stallion Rubin Star N and the mare, Rendezvous.
The Addington Elite August Sale is held in the beautiful parkland of the Addington Manor Estate in Buckinghamshire. With easy access from International Airports, situated 45 minutes from London Luton Airport and 1 hour from London Heathrow.
