The fourth annual Pacific Sporthorse Selection takes place in just a few weeks on 29 - 30 August 2015 in Vacaville, CA. 2015 promises to be the best year yet with a super collection of jumpers, eventers, and dressage horses. PSS is a unique event as it brings the idea of a European style auction to the West Coast. All horses have been vet checked by UC Davis and x-rays are available for buyers to review. We all know the dilemma: Who wants to spend thousands of dollars vetting potential dream horses all across the continent only to find a problem? PSS removes that uncertainty. From promising three year olds to competitive show horses, this year's collection has something for everyone. The collection is available for test rides for up until the auction. All have x-rays for download on the PSS website, and UC Davis veterinarian Dr. Sarah le Jeune will be on site for free consultations.
PSS is so much more than just an auction! With this year’s special guests, Anne Gribbons and Linda Allen, PSS University brings two Olympic caliber professionals to the Northern California equestrian circuit. PSS|U is a two day continuing education event. It brings together well respected professionals from a variety of equine fields to discuss, demonstrate, and hold workshops on current topics relevantto horse and rider. This educational program covers many interesting topics and uses a variety of formats to give all participants some useful knowledge to take home.
In addition, PSS is once again making an impact on the community by hosting a Gala Pink Ribbon Fundraiser that has helped to raise more than $20,000 in previous years. The celebration brings together equestrians to enjoy wine tasting, exciting performances, vendors and artists. With its fourth installment, PSS has become one of the most anticipated equestrian events in Northern California.
