The 2015-2016 KWPN Stallion Competition show circuit continued with the second leg held at equestrian centre Den Goubergh in Roosendaal, The Netherlands, on 15 December 2015. The 4-year old Toto Jr, the 5-year old Ferdeaux and the 6-year old Electron were the winners of the day. Karin Retera and Jan Wolfs were the judges at the Roosendaal show.

In the L-level division for 4-year olds Marieke van der Putten and the Austrian owned Hanoverian stallion Toto Jr (by Totilas x Desperados) were unbeatable. The duo scored 89 points and the black got 9 for trot, walk, canter and potential. Kim Coolen and Guardian S (by Bodyguard x Trento B) slotted in second with 84 points. The pair stood out with very good transitions and the horse has much cadence. Severo Jurado Lopez finished third on Grand Galaxy Win (by Apache x Jazz) with 83 points. The stallion was active with a powerful hind leg but quite tense.

"Toto Jr showed a very beautiful, harmonious performance. He's a pleasure to watch. He is solid in walk, nicely well carried in trot and canters uphill," said judge Retera. Rider Van der Putten acknowledged that she focused more on relaxation this time than in Ermelo. "The trot was maube a bit less spectacular but it worked out well in canter. Toto Jr gives me a great feeling and looks so much like his sire. He's cool as a cucumber," said Van der Putten.

Kirsten Brouwer steered the dark bay stallion Ferdeaux (by Bordeaux x Ferro) to victory with 84 points in the M-level division for 5-year olds. The pair edged out the winner of the first leg, Four Legends JS (by Wynton x Ferro). Ferdeaux scored 9 for trot and 8.5 for harmony and potential. Marieke van der Putten and Four Legends KS scored 83 points and got an 8.5 for trot, harmony and potential. Severo Jurado Lopez and Franklin (by Ampere x Ferro) rtanked third with 82 points. The score dropped because of the mediocre walk.

"Ferdeaux showed a beautiful, consistent test in which he showed good activity from behind in trot," said judge Retera. Rider Brouwer stated that "I had a nice ride and am super happy with a horse like Ferdeaux. He's a power house who is really with you, always wants to work and has much potential. In Ermelo he was a bit tense."

At Z-level for 6-year olds, only one horse contested the class. Annemarie Brouwer and Electron (by Ampere x Fidermark) scored a winning 70 points. The general remark was that the horse should show more collection.
