Austrian Grand Prix rider Victoria Max-Theurer has acquired Gestut Birkhof's 9-year old licensed Baden Wurttemberger stallion Lord Leopold as a Grand Prix prospect.

Bred by Simone Meder from Bad Dürrheim, Germany, and co-owned by Birkhof and Meder, the elegant dark bay Lord Leopold (by Lord Sinclair x Sandro Hit x Classiker)  was trained and competed by Nicole Casper.

The stallion finished fourth at the 2012 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf as a 5-year old and sixth at the 2013 Bundeschampionate as a 6-year old. He made his Prix St Georges level debut at age 7 and has now competed up to Intermediaire II level with good placings.

Owner Meder did not refuse the offer made by Sissy Max-Theurer and sold her stallion as a Grand Prix prospect for Victoria. Meder still co-owns the licensed stallion Topas (by Totilas) out of the same dam as Lord Leopold. The 5-year old Topas was the reserve champion at the Tubinger Riding Horse Championships.
