The German Trakehner society has voted on a new board of directors and appointed three new members on it. Norbert Camp has been appointed the new chair on the board at the general assembly, which was attended by approximately two hundred members.

Norbert Camp is replacing long-time chair Petra Wilm of Gestut Tasdorf as the new chair of the Trakeher board. Wilm has resigned from her position alongside Hans Werner Paul and Jurgen Hanke.

The 60-year old Camp was the only person running for chair and got 63 out of 64 votes.  At the general assembly it was also decided that the position of chair can only be covered for two periods.

"I'm looking forward to the co-operation with a competent, engaged and team that is willing to work and I'm looking forward to a successful future," said Camp, who is retired manager of a big pharmaceutical enterprise.

Hans-Peter Karp, who is member of the licensing committee, was nominated as vice-chair and the 56-year old Marion Drache as second vice chair. Drache is heavily involved in therapeutic horse riding and works together with Olympian Ingrid Klimke.
