The Dutch equestrian federation (KNHS) has announced the rider and horse combinations that will make up the Dutch team for the Nations Cup competition held at the 2016 CDIO Compiegne on 18 - 22 May 2016.
The CDIO Compiëgne will host the third leg of the 2016 FEI Nations' Cup circuit, which kicked off in Wellington, Florida in March. The second leg will be held at the CDIO Odense on 12 - 15 May 2016 in Denmark. Compiegne is next, followed by Rotterdam (NED) in June and Falsterbo (SWE), Aachen (GER) and Hickstead (GBR) in July.
The Netherlands will be fielding a team of experience and youth for the Nations' Cup. Spearheading the foursome will be Holland's multiple medal winning Adelinde Cornelissen on her 19-year old Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft), alongside team newcomers Emmelie Scholtens on Apache (by UB40), Kim Schmid on Theodoor (by Metall) and Margo Timmermans on Catch Me (by Dreamcatcher).
Cornelissen will also be making her international show debut on her rising Grand Prix horse Aqiede, an 11-year old show jumping bred Dutch warmblood by Undigo.
