De La Rose, Top Seller at 2016 Glantz und Gloria Auction

The 5-year old dressage bred mare De La Rose (by Dancier x Frenchman x Wendenburg) became the top selling horse of the 2016 Glantz und Gloria Auction held at Erdbeerhof Glantz on 13 August 2016.

The auction offered 19 young sport horses and 20 foals up for auction. The majority was show jumping bred. Three young dressage bred sport horses were for sale and a dressage horse, in fact, became the top seller.

The 5-year old Hanoverian mare De La Rosa sold for 120,000 euro to a dressage stable in Hamburg. Under Lena Berwe the mare won the Wolfskehlen Bundeschampionate qualifier this year. At the 2015 Bundeschampionate she was 14th in the 4-year old mares and geldings class.

All dressage horses were well paid for. Th 3-year old stallion Furst Enno (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall) also moves to Hamburg for 50,000 euro. The 3-year old mare Dana Delany (by Don Crusador x Wolkentanz x Wanderbusch) moves to Schleswig-Holstein for 42,000 euro.

The foals were all show jumping bred. Two sold for the top sales price of 22,000 euro: A bay colt by For Pleasure x Casall moves to Schleswig-Holstein and a bay filly by Cascadello x Cassini I found now Latin-American owners at the auction.
