German trainer and breeder Kareen Heineking-Schütte of Germanhorseconnection is holding a special yard reduction sale at her farm in Raddestorf, Germany, on 10 September 2016. Kareen wishes to refocus her core business on training and coaching instead of horse breeding and sales. This is an amazing opportunity to buy hiqh quality broodmares, foals and young sport horses and ponies.
Heineking-Schütte has own breeding products as well as client-owned young talented dressage horses and ponies in her stable. In the near future she wishes to focus more on the service and veterinary side of her business than horse sales and breeding. Therefore, she is selling off a large portion of her horse stock to make room for more horses from her international client base of students and liveries she has developed over the 12 years since she founded her livery yard and veterinary business.
"We are also expanding our children's riding program which is doing very well and we find very rewarding," Heineking-Schütte told Eurodressage. "I've recently taken on another full timer who has competed up through the Bundeschampionates, has her FN trainer degree in place and is a certified vet tech with several years of clinical work experience, so I don't have to do all the teaching and training myself and am more flexible to keep handling my veterinary schedule. Overall our staff is now up to six most of them have been with us for years plus usually at least one student intern from ERASMUS or veterinary studen exchange programs"
This yard reduction sale is definitely worthwhile for dressage lovers to come out as a high quality stock of exquisitely bred horses will be up for sale. Kareen's own horse stock is for sale almost in its entirety, with the exception of older mares, one youngster as well as her children's ponies. There is no reserve on any of them. This is an exceptional opportunity to conquer a geat find at a reasonable price!
"Most of these horses have either approved sons or siblings and/or successful upper level show horses up close in their lineage," said Kareen about the quality of her horse stock. "Only some of them have x-rays on file, but interested parties are very welcome to have any reasonably useful examination performed by a veterinarian of their choice beforehand. Mares sold as being in foal will be guaranteed in foal on the day of the sale."
Twenty young sport horses and ponies, eight foals and miscellaneous equipment will be sold at auction. There is no buying beforehand nor any pre-fixed deals. Horses on offer are, for example, sired by Millenium, Prince Thatch xx, Licotus, FS Dior de Luxe or Caramel FH. The foals are by top producers such as De Niro, Fursten-Look, Grey Flanell, Lissaro van de Helle, Talisman, Rotspon, and pony stallion Golden West.
Highlights in the collection are Lot # 30, De L'Etoile Filante EFA (by De Niro x Weltmeyer x Likoto xx), a smashing Hanoverian colt bred by Edel Fitzpatrick (UK) or Lot #38, Ma Jolie, a stunning 3-year old Hanoverian mare by Millennium x Sunlight xx x Davignon bred by Britta Schoening. She comes from the same dam line as Blue Hors Farrell and Ma Jolie's dam is full sister to the international Grand Prix horse Sil Jander (Vivien Niemann).
