Embryoauction.com offers up for auction an embryo by the talented stallion For Romance I out of the mare Donna Musica, the half-sister of dressage superstar Desperados FRH, who became the individual bronze medalist and team gold winner at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games under Kristina Bröring-Sprehe last week.

For years, Desperados FRH has been on top of the dressage sport and his unbelievable talents were confirmed by his world-class performances at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. With a score of 87.14% Desperados FRH and Germany’s Kristina Bröring-Sprehe gained the bronze medal in the Freestyle to Music. With the German squad, Desperados and Bröring Sprehe won team gold after wonderful performances in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Spécial.

Desperados FRH is not only a phenomenon in sport, but in breeding he is also developing into a true sire. His oldest offspring are already performing at high dressage level and his sons have been approved by many studbooks.

In addition, Desperados’ dam line – also this embryo’s dam line – has been very successful. Donna Musica – the dam of this embryo – already produced the stallion Frascino. This son of Fürst Wilhelm has been approved by Oldenburg, Westphalia and the Südd. Verbände and was invited for the KWPN Performance Test. The well-known Grand Prix dressage horse Don Diego of Spain’s Juan Matute Guiman was bred out of this same damline

Sire For Romance I is a very promising son of Fürst Romancier and Sir Donnerhall I. For Romance I was named champion of Oldenburg twice and nowadays his offspring is already dominating the stallion and mare shows in Germany. From his first crop, no less than seven sons were approved by several studbooks in 2015. By the Westphalian Studbook his son Federico Fellini became vice champion and was later on auctioned for 250.000 euro.
