
The filly Dance for Rio (by Dante Weltino x Rubin Royal) became the best seller at the 2016 Foal Auction organized in Riedlingen on 25 August 2016 or the South German, and specifically Baden Wurttemberger based breeders.
Dance for Rio, who is bred by Hans Claus and who was the reserve champion of the Marbach foal show, sold for 14,500 euro.
The second most expensive foal was the filly Zazou (by Zalando x Fabriano) which switched owners for 11,700 euro and will move to Gestut Birkhof. The filly Veltins (by Veneno x St Moritz) sold for 10,300 euro.
The jumper foal Babalina (by Balou de Rouet x Diarado) found a new owner for 9,700 euro.
The colt Fort Knox (by Florenz x Rubin Royal) achieved a knock down price of 9,500 euro. For Sezaldik (by Sezuan x Heraldik xx) the hammer fell at 9,200 euro.
The colt Flatrate (by Franziskus x Sandro Bedo) sold for 8,500 euro. Kaiser H (by Kaiserstolz x Quadrofino) switched owners for 7,000 euro. The same price was paid for Fahrenstein (by Fahrenheit x Hohenstein).
A foal at this auction cost 5,466 euro on average.
