Swedish WEG Team rider Jeanna Hogberg has given birth to twins at the BB Akademiska Sjukhuset in Upsalla Sweden on Saturday night 5 November 2016. The babies have been named Esther and Noah.
"Two miracles were born tonight, Esther and Noah," Hogberg announced. "It all went well, but oh my god such an indescribable pain."
The 34-year old Hogberg and her partner Marcus Jansson are first time parents. Both boy Noah and girl Esther are doing fine but are still kept under observation at the clinic in Upsalla while the mother recovers from the delivery.
Hogberg has represented Sweden for the first time as a senior Grand Prix rider in 2014 aboard Darcia (by Danone I) at the World Equestrian Games in Caen, France. This year she won silver at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships with the 7-year old Fiorucci while five months pregnant.
