Finnish Grand Prix rider Terhi Stegars and her British husband John O' Sullivan have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Tomi Alexander was born at Bohler clinic in Luxembourg city on 22 January 2017.
Mom and baby are in excellent health. Tomi weighs 3.5 kg and measures 51 cm.
The Luxembourg based Stegars is ecstatic with her son. "Our little cowboy can definitely already ride, he was my co-rider during several World Cup qualifiers last year," Terhi told Eurodressage.
The 42-year old Stegars will be preparing her top horse Axis, an 18-year old Trakehner licensed stallion by Sixtus x Angard, as well as her youngster Grand Prix horses Dalou Shan (by De Koonig) and Thai Pee (by Farewell III) for qualification for this year's highlight competition, the 2017 European Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden.
"The schedule for this spring time and summer remains flexible and depends how my horses and I regain fitness," said Stegars. "Gothenburg Europeans are certainly in our plans."
