Double Olympic dressage champion Charlotte Dujardin has returned on to the Debrett's 500 list in 2017. The Debrett's List has been recognizing Britain's most influential people since 1769.

The Debrett’s 500 names Britain’s 500 most influential people each year. The list has been compiled by independent specialists in each of a number of sectors – from Advertising, Business and Fashion through to Politics and Science – who provide nominations for selection to Debrett’s.

Originally British people of influence were listed in the publications The Peerage and People of Today, but the official Debrett's 500  was launched in 2014 and published in the Telegraph magazine.

Charlotte Dujardin has been listed for 2017 alongside Olympic show jumping champion Nick Skelton. Other sport stars on the list are, for instance, sprinter Mo Farah and tennis player Andy Murray.

Dujardin already made the Debrett's 500 list back in 2015 after winning the BT Sport’s Action Woman of the Year in 2014, breaking two world records and adding gold at the 2014 World Equestrian Games to her tally.
