The Gothenburg Horse show has announced the recipients of their training grants, which they annually bestow on a selected group of talented Swedish junior and young riders.

For 2017 two dressage riders - Beatrice Ivarsson and Ludwig Wilken - have been selected for the grant, which is an approximately 3,000 euro cheque which they can spend on the improvement of their sport career.

The 19-year old young rider Beatrice Ivarsson has been one of Sweden's top junior riders the past three years. She will spend her grant on training in Germany. The 20-year old Ludwig Wilken has moved through the levels, from ponies to young riders. He is trained by Kerstin André and represented Sweden at the 2016 European Young Riders Championships aboard Capo Knight. He is also studying to become an airplane mechanic.
