The FEI has updated the list of candidates who are running for a position on the FEI Dressage Committee or as Bureau member for the Regional groups. The positions are elected by the General Assembly in the winter of 2017.
Frank Kemperman, chair of the FEI Dressage Committee, is listed as the only candidate to succeed himself as "Bureau Member, Chair Dressage" for the new term of 2017 - 2021.
The term of Mexican dressage judge Maribel Alonso on the FEI Dressage Committee is coming to an end and no less than five candidates -- all judges -- are listed for that position: Andrew Gardner (GBR), Elizabeth McMullen (CAN), Irina Maknami (RUS), Max Piraino (CHI), and Mary Seefried (AUS). The new turn will run from 2017 - 2021 and the FEI deliberately stated that "for 2017, the Dressage Committee would prefer a strong Judge background."
Sue Cunningham (AUS) is the outgoing member on the Para Equestrian Committee and the candidates for the 2017-2021 term are Ann D'Ieteren (BEL), Sarah Leitch (GBR), Katherine Lucheschi (ITA), Genevieve Pfister (SUI) and Kristi Wysocki (USA).
Colombian dressage judge Cesar Torrente is a candidate to become FEI Tribunal Member as Ludovic de Villele (FRA) has resigned, while Jane Mulcahy (GBR)'s position is re-eligible.
