Stefan Heimpel's filly High Motion (by Topas x Don Diamond) became the top selling dressage foal at the 2017 German Sport Horse (DSP) Foal Auction held in Viernheim on 17 June 2017.
This DSP foal auction was held during the show jumping competition at Viernheim and featured a mixed selection of jumper and dressage foals, but the overall majority being show jumping bred youngsters. Twenty-six foals were initially selected, twenty-five of them were presented for auction and sold for an average price of 7,728 euro.
High Motion sold for 11,200 euro.
The second most expensive dressage foal was Gabriele Eder's filly Fürstin (by Fürst Romancier x Feenkoenig xx) which sold for 8,700.
Three dressage foals were presented for sale. The third one was Acapulco II GE (by Apache x Fürstenball). Bred by Gestüt Elstertal it sold for 8,500 euro
