The 12-year old Hanoverian gelding Harmony's Fiorano has been sold to the Swedish Under 25 rider Beata Soderberg.
Fiorano is a 2005 born chestnut bred by Anke von Riegen. He is by Rousseau x Rotspon x Lauries Crusador xx.
Purchased by American Leslie Malone of Harmony Sport Horses as foal and reared at Ingo Pape's station in Hemmoor, Germany, Fiorano was licensed with the Hanoverian society in 2007 and did his 70-day stallion performance testing in Munster-Handorf in August 2008. He scored 136.12 points to win the testing with 141.70 points for dressage and 99.64 for show jumping.
Fiorano was trained from novice to Grand Prix level by British Susan Pape-Draper. She made her show debut with him at L-level in 2010. In 2012 and 2013 he was not competed at all and gelded to be focused on sport. He returned to the show ring in January 2014 at S-level. By April 2014 he was shown at national Grand Prix level in Germany. In November 2014 they made their international Grand Prix debut at the CDI Oldenburg.
Pape and Fiorano competed at CDI's in Addington, Hamburg, Verden, Wellington, Cappeln and Frankfurt from 2015 till 2017. The pair's last show together was the CDI Hamburg in May 2017.
Right after Hamburg, Fiorano moved to Beata Soderberg's training based at Helgstrand dressage in Denmark. The new duo made its national show debut in the Inter II in Hjallerup in June. Soderberg and Fiorano are making their CDI debut in the Under 25 Short Grand Prix at the 2017 CDI-W Herning today 21 October 2017.
The 23-year old Soderberg is also known as the owner of the triple Young Horse World Champion Fiontini.
