Ullrich Kasselmann, one of the world's most famous horse personalities, has celebrated his 70th birthday. In attendance of 350 guests, Ullrich hosted a special birthday party at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany, to celebrate the joyous event.
Kasselmann is a Renaissance man: the show host, horse breeder, dressage trainer and sales agent has founded the most successful and exclusive auction concept for young dressage horses, Performance Sales International (PSI), in partnership with Paul Schockemöhle. Kasselmann also hosts the annual "Horses and Dreams" and "Future Champions" CDI/CDIO-PJYR and the "Ankum Dressage Club" national indoor shows. Since 1976 he has been married to Bianca Kasselmann (née Buthmann).
Alongside his dressage stable Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Ullrich also owns the breeding facility Gestut Osthoff, where events and corporate meetings can be held. No less than 220 horses are stabled at Ritterhof Osthoff.
Kasselmann is strongly involved with the charity "Riding Against Hunger"
