Brightwells is hosting an Elite Dressage Collection Sale on Saturday 12th May 2018 at Addington Manor, UK. This auction is held alongside the Premier League Dressage Competition. The auction horse in the spotlight is Lot 4, Herbie.
Lot 4 Herbie is a 6-year-old gelding by Westenwind – Glorieux – Report I
Herbie is a son of the KWPN licensed stallion, Westenwind, who has been successful at Prix St. George level under Dutch rider, Emmelie Scholtens. Herbie is a half-brother to Ruby Glow by Royal Diamond, who competed at Prix St. George level, Novice level horse; Furstenstolz by Don Gregory & Cheek by Unaniem who is competing at 1.40m level jumping with Poppy Stronge of Great Britain.
Herbie’s mother, Furstenliebe is a State Premium & Elite graded mare. Furstenliebe is a full sister to the Medium level dressage horse, Glamour Girl & half-sister to For You by the thoroughbred Likoto, who is dam of the 1.60m level jumper Caillou.
Herbie is wonderful to ride and uncomplicated. With his lovely character, he would suit any rider wanting a horse that gives you all the joy. Herbie’s owner says, ‘he is just a pleasure!’.

We welcome you to view and try our auction horses at Addington on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th May prior to the auction. All horses have undergone clinical examination including X-rays, which are available to be viewed.
