German Under 25 Grand Prix rider Anna-Louise Fuchs has a new Grand Prix horse to continue her dressage career with at top level: Rihanna Forever.
Rihanna Forever is a 12-year old Oldenburg mare by Rock Forever out of Anjessa (by Tin Rocco). She is bred by Michael Heimes and is owned by the breeder.
The tall bay mare was trained from young horse level up to Grand Prix by Martin Pfeiffer.
The pair made its show debut in 2011 and reached national Grand Prix level in 2016. They made their international small tour debut at the CDI Aachen in May and stepped up to Grand Prix level in July at the CDI Leudelange. Their last CDI was in Exloo in October, where they finished 13th in the Grand Prix (65.674%) and 7th in the Special (63.064%).
In May 2018 Fuchs lost her number one Grand Prix horse E.H. Rodrigos to colic. She has now received the ride on Rihanna Forever from the owner/breeder. As the partnership is brand new, no concrete plans have been made about a competition start.
"We will go to the Piaff Förderpreis qualifier next week and will try to show our best after our short preparation time," Fuchs told Eurodressage. "Her qualities are her nice character, her willingness to work and her three good gaits."
For the past year Fuchs has been training with Dorothee Schneider
